Neptune has stationed direct and after five months of retrograde we have had lots of time to reflect our relationship to our imagination, dreams, the ethereal states, mystical realms and the visions and delusions they can offer us. We may feel the opening of the ethers again into these realms with more confidence and ease. We may feel ready to emerge from the secret places we go to lick our wounds. We may be feeling lots of feelings around the passage of the past 5 months. Now its time to move forward, come out of the shadows and manifest those dreams into reality.

Sunday- Sun conjunct Jupiter

The highlight of the week begins Sunday with Jupiter and the Sun meeting in Sagittarius and Mercury close by. Together they help us to ignite our optimism, intuition and visions, so this week is a go for all things spiritual. Mercury is still retrograde so that movement may be focused on the internal realms in preparation for his direct stationing on December 6th, the same day as the New Moon in Sagittarius.

Monday- Moonday!

Monday may be a day for deep observation and engaging our practice of the Sacred Pause as Mercury squares Mars. The Moon in Cancer squares Venus and Uranus and opposes Pluto. This can be highly productive energy for taking action, finding new approaches and revaluing our sentiments, so long as we do just that; re-evaluate the situation before acting. In particular before speaking, because those things that we might want to say out of anger or impulsivity sometimes offer us insight into our true feelings.

The Moon in Cancer opposing Pluto says this story might be deeper than what the present moment can tell us, and sometimes feelings are best digested before acting on. Is the anger we feel truly about the present situation, or might it be welling up from some deeper part of ourselves that we have been carrying from childhood? Or perhaps it’s manifesting as some insight insisting that we take some action. The Moon squares Uranus just before midnight, with a little effort we can awaken to new ways of being.

Tuesday- Mercury Kazimi with Jupiter and the Sun in Sagittarius

Mercury can give us the gift of objective vision. Conjunctions are said to be subjective aspects where the person holding this in a chart will experience the energies in play from a personal viewpoint, identifying with them and feeling as though they themselves are these energies.

The fact that both Mercury and Jupiter are choosing to start new cycles in the Sun within 48 hours of one another offers great meaning. If we examine our new journeys with the mental acuity and observational mind of Mercury and the profound, idealistic seeking of Jupiter we might have the opportunity to engage the super-powered spiritual mind that both identifies with and stands back from our experiences while being able to extract new beliefs and theories on the meaning of life and existence.

The Moon will be in Leo trining the beautiful light show in the Sun. Now is the time to seed your intentions for the next year of Jupiter in its home sign of Sagittarius and for the next three months of Mercury’s cycle. With mercury retrograde he is closest to Earth and his energies are electrified by the sun, expanded by Jupiter an his messages are loudest, as is his ability to hear ours. Send out your prayers to be carried by the winds to the Heavens!

This is a super powerful day for ritual and intentions around all things Sagittarian- planning trips, new courses of study, spiritual exploration, new philosophies, perceptions and ways of communicating. They are in a strong square to Mars in Pisces asking us to cut away the illusions and delusions that have been holding us back from our ideals. I use these days to sit in meditation, face the Sun and Mercury and ask for vision and clarity around that which is most important to my highest self at that time. Then, WRITE.

Friday- Venus opposite Uranus

The collective Uraniation of the self must look into its own reflection in the faces of our friends and relationships. Is the newly reborn Libra Goddess, now confronted with the radical Self, choosing in this time of awakening to bring people together, or to divide them?

Saturday-Venus enters Scorpio-Love conquering Fear

Venus enters into Scorpio again right after her opposition to Uranus retracing the steps of her recent retrograde In the sign of the scorpion. She offers us a time to plant new seeds of love in the places where we may have pulled out any noxious weeds during her retread. Or perhaps we only identified the weeds before and there are still a few left to clear out.

The Goddess, whose symbol is the mirror, asks us to gaze into the mirror of our hearts and confront its own shadows. Here she offers us the chance to choose love when we turn our gaze inward and see our own shadow peering back from behind a smoky veil. Recently reborn in the sign of Libra, who seeks balanced understanding, when we see the veils we have put on (often subconsciously) we can seek to find an understanding that leads to love.

As with anything we do not understand we can begin by asking questions. How does this veil serve me? Why did I put it on? When did I decide to take this form of protection? Does it serve me still? Often, we adopt these so called shadow aspects of ourselves in order to cope with and survive the radical and traumatizing event of life. Can we allow these experiences to be our catalysts into radical self-love? Identify those people in your life who are willing to dive deep with you on this journey of regeneration.

Sunday- Mercury Retrogrades back into Scorpio

Mercury is returning to this sign asking us what we really think about our understanding of the powerful, intense aspects of life. He has just been reborn with Jupiter and may have optimistic insights around our relationships. It’s a great time to do any journaling and reflecting on our fears and how they move us through our daily lives.

Do we see each moment as an opportunity to chose love over fear? Do we have the courage to share our vulnerability with others and the discernment to know when it is safe to do so? Venus in Scorpio brings us into the beauty of the darker aspects of life. Here she longs for deep, meaningful, intimate connection. She yearns to be touched and touch beauty through the soul. She wants to live deeply and nothing shallow will do.

Recently reborn in the sign of Libra she is initiated into the mysteries of unification through the balance of opposites. In her Libran wisdom, she is teaching us how the center point is only found through the opposition of seemingly opposite forces, or perhaps amidst total chaos.

Scorpio is the home of chaos, the primordial waters, the abysmal waters of the Alchemists, the sacred birthplace of all things and the womb of creation. A similar statement can be made about Pisces where her lover Mars resides currently. While he is cutting away the illusions that can stem from the murky places of life, Allow her wisdom to teach you something about the value of the things we may normally wish to push away in avoidance. She may offer us great blessings this year, and her journey through the 7 gates into the underworld begins next Monday with the releasing of her crown and her outdated forms of connection to heaven. This week’s transits seem to be preparing us for great journeys like these.

Prayer:

May we remember that all of life is a journey, and every step is sacred. May we remember to take each step with intention.

Blessed Journeying,

Zoey Wind
